She is obsessed with any opportunity to design both scenic and lighting under one unique concept, then engaging audiences to deliver unforgettable experiences for them, provoking their thinking about the performance or their own life.​

Jiayi is based in UK and Shanghai designing Scenography for performances. In 2018, she graduated from the Shanghai Theatre Academy with a bachelor's degree in lighting design. Then she studied performance design at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama, and graduated in 2021.
